About The Event

Come along and see how Hathern was farmed in the thirteenth century and

compare it with today’s farming.

A special event to celebrate farming in Hathern will be hosted by present day

farmers Richard & Inger Mee, supported by Circa 1265, a small thirteenth

century reenactment group based in the Midlands.

Take a walk with Farmer Richard; sample a Medieval Harvest Menu in the

Oakley Grange Cafe; see the Medieval Camp and listen to show and tell

stories of Medieval farming, equipment and crafts. There will be displays and

activities for all ages so everyone can come and join in.
