Hathern is a full and vibrant community with a whole host of groups offering various activities.
There is a History Society, Community Library, Wildlife Group, Garden Club, WI and so much more...

Hathern Band

The Hathern Band family consists of
four brass bands. The main Band is a
contesting band which competes in
the First section with Concert Brass a
non-contesting band.

Hathern Club

Founded in the 1860s, the former Working Men’s Liberal Club operates today as Hathern Club, a volunteer-run social space, which is open to everyone...young, old or in-between. With a lively programme of regular events, it's also available to hire for parties and other activities. Call in and see us!

Hathern Garden Club

The village group for garden enthusiasts. Join us for visits in the summer and talks during the winter months.

Hathern Village Association

Group of volunteers who run Wicked Hathern Fest and other events within the village.

Hathern Wildlife Group

Hathern Wildlife Group’s aims are to:
• raise awareness about the natural environment
• maintain and develop local wildlife habitats
• monitor, record and share information about local wildlife and wildlife habitats

Hathern Baptist Church

Hathern Baptist Church is situated at
the southern end of the village on
The Leys. The church is a welcoming
place where people from all walks of
life enjoy meeting together to
worship God.

Hathern Village Hall

Hathern Hathern Village Hall is run by Hathern Recreation Association. The hall has toilets,
including an accessible one, wheelchair access, kitchen facilities and projector plus
drop down screen. It is available to hire both on an hourly rate or, if you are looking
for somewhere to run a regular class, on a more permanent basis.

Hathern's volunteer-led Youth Club is open to 7-18 year olds and operates every Friday night at Hathern Village Hall

Hathern Bellringers

Hathern is an Association of Ringing
Teachers Hub and welcomes anyone
who would like to learn more about
the bells or learn to ring.
They practise ringing regularly on
Thursday evenings and on the 4th
Thursday of each month they ring at
Belton to keep their bells ringing out!

Hathern's football team, founded in 1966, they now play in Senior League
Premier Division, at Step 7 of the
English Non-League Pyramid.

Hathern WI

Hathern WI is part of the National Federation of Women's Institutes, and meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7.30pm in Hathern Club, Dovecote Street.
